First painted in 2005, Jack and Jill from Banksy's Police Kids show two children running through the water, wearing bullet-proof vests with "POLICE" emblazoned on the front. The children are in their pre-adolescence "an innocent time of play and laughter, but also a time when children are beginning to be more aware of the world and life has begun to change for them.

The work has passed PEST control to ensure authenticity, and holds a numbered certificate of authenticity.

Banksy's countless reprehensible yet subversive acts have earned him a place among the world's greats. He loves to provoke, shock and even disrupt society, and that's what makes his work so important.

Despite his ability to break the rules, he remains a real mystery to this day, as his true identity has never been revealed. In all likelihood, Banksy is a Graffiti artist from Bristol, England.

Philanthropist, anti-war and revolutionary, the artist uses his art as a means of communication to loudly proclaim his dissatisfaction with certain social facts, certain political situations or, quite simply, certain decisions adopted by world leaders.

A darling of the art world worldwide and a nightmare for police authorities, Banksy is also known as an "art terrorist" in the UK. His ability to sneak into museums and public attractions anonymously is the cause.

In 2005, he managed to gain access to the world's biggest museums, including MoMa, Tate Britain and Louvres, to display his own works. Some of them even remained on display at for several days before the deception was discovered. In 2006, in the heart of London's Soho district, he placed a giant sculpture representing a red telephone booth, split by a pickaxe and appearing to bleed.
