Seduced by drawing and the world of comics, Pap's began his artistic apprenticeship with the Martenot method, which taught him the basics of classical painting.

The romance lasted only three years, and the onset of adolescence took its toll...
After 30 years, it was while strolling around Rouen that it was love at first sight. Street art and its explosive colors inspired him to pick up his brushes again.
Gone are the days of oil paints, watercolors and charcoals, replaced by bombs, markers and acrylics. It took him two years to create his own universe, a mix of street and pop art tinged with the melancholy of bygone years. His art coats canvas as well as vintage objects.
Bakelite telephones have become his trademark and, through the artist's expression, are once again the link between our times and nostalgic memories of an era we miss so much.
